Terms of Service

MarketBot is a deal aggregation and price intelligence service for Zimbabwe. We collect publicly available listings from sources like Facebook Marketplace, community submissions, and participating shops, layer pricing analysis on top, and make it all searchable through our website, AI assistant, and Telegram bot.

MarketBot is not a party to any sale. We do not own, hold, ship, or guarantee any item you find through the service. Every transaction happens directly between you and the seller, and you are responsible for verifying an item and a seller before you pay.

You need an account for some features (saved searches, watchlists, bounties, shop tools). You must give us accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use features that involve payments or payouts.

Listings shown on MarketBot come from third-party sources and community members. We work to keep them current, but we cannot promise that any listing is accurate, still available, or priced as shown. Price estimates, fair-value ranges, deal scores, and flip-margin figures are informational estimates based on the data we have. They are not valuations, financial advice, or a guarantee that you can buy or resell at any particular price.

Our AI assistant generates responses automatically. It can make mistakes, including about prices, availability, and sellers. Treat its answers as a starting point, not a promise, and use your own judgement before acting on them.

MarketBot lets sellers and the platform fund bounties and reward campaigns, and lets scouts, flippers, and creators earn commissions for surfacing or promoting deals. Where these features are available:

• Earnings are tracked in your account ledger and paid out through Paynow or another supported method.
• We may withhold or reverse payouts that result from fraud, fake engagement, self-dealing, or a breach of these terms.
• Bounty and campaign terms (rates, caps, deadlines) are shown on each bounty or campaign and form part of these terms.
• You are responsible for any taxes that apply to amounts you earn.

You agree not to:

• Post or submit listings that are false, stolen, illegal, or misleading.
• Scrape, copy, or resell MarketBot's data or interfere with the service's operation.
• Manipulate views, clicks, referrals, or any metric used to calculate rewards.
• Harass other users or use the service to send spam.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access another person's account.

We may remove content, suspend features, or close accounts that break these rules.

MarketBot links to and interoperates with third-party platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Telegram. Those platforms have their own terms, and we are not responsible for what happens on them.

The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, MarketBot is not liable for losses arising from a purchase or sale you make, a listing's inaccuracy, a seller's conduct, or your reliance on price estimates or AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of Zimbabwe.

You can stop using MarketBot and delete your account at any time. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we may update these terms. If we make a material change we will post the updated terms here with a new date, and continued use after that means you accept them.
